Everything a contract desk needs โ€” nothing extra

Module 1

ClauseBank

Stop hunting through old deals for that indemnification clause that worked. ClauseBank is a searchable library of your firm's approved language โ€” organized by clause type, practice area, and jurisdiction.

  • Search by clause type, keyword, or jurisdiction
  • Preview clause text before inserting
  • Insert directly into your Word document at cursor position
  • Manage your library from a simple admin panel
  • Tag clauses as "firm standard," "client-friendly," or "aggressive"

Module 2

Redline Review

Before you send the markup, know what you missed. Redline Review uses AI to flag provisions that carry elevated legal or business risk โ€” giving attorneys a focused starting point for review rather than reading every word cold.

  • Flags high-risk language: uncapped liability, one-sided termination, missing limitations
  • Medium-risk: unusual representations, broad confidentiality, non-standard governing law
  • Each flag links to the exact paragraph in the document
  • Designed as a second-pass tool โ€” not a replacement for attorney review
  • AI model runs via AIBridges API; no text stored after processing

โšก Medium Risk
ยง12.1 โ€” Unilateral termination for convenience with no cure period. Client can exit immediately.
โšก Medium Risk
ยง6.4 โ€” IP assignment is overly broad. Includes pre-existing IP not developed under this agreement.
โœ“ Low Risk
ยง3.1 โ€” Payment terms are standard (Net 30). No issues identified.
Module 3

Deadline Radar

Every contract is full of dates that matter โ€” and some that are easy to miss. Deadline Radar scans your document and surfaces every deadline, notice period, option window, and renewal date in a clean, exportable list.

  • Extracts absolute dates, relative deadlines, and calculated periods
  • Identifies notice periods ("30 days written notice")
  • Flags option exercise windows and renewal deadlines
  • Export to a calendar-ready list or copy to clipboard
  • All processing local โ€” no document text leaves Word

Common questions

What does the AI in Redline Review actually do?
Redline Review uses an AI language model to read contract text and identify provisions that typically represent elevated legal or business risk โ€” such as uncapped liability, missing limitations, or unusual IP assignments. It surfaces these as flagged items for attorney review. It does not give legal advice and is not a substitute for an attorney reading the contract.
Is contract text sent to an AI server?
For Redline Review, yes โ€” the relevant sections of the contract are sent to the AIBridges API for processing. Text is not stored after the analysis is returned. ClauseBank and Deadline Radar are entirely local and transmit nothing. The privacy policy covers this in detail.
Can we customize the ClauseBank with our own clause library?
Yes. Firms can upload their own standard clause library through the admin portal. You define the clause categories, tags, and which clauses are "firm standard." The library is hosted in your firm's workspace โ€” other firms cannot see your clauses.
Does it require a Microsoft 365 subscription?
Yes โ€” Contract HQ is built on Office.js and requires Microsoft 365 (or Office 2019+). It works in Word for Windows and Word for Mac. Web (Word Online) support is in progress.
